As part of your duties, you will carry out the following tasks:
* Design, adapt and develop protocols in line with customer specifications (internal or external);
* Carry out experiments (prepare equipment, launch trials, run bioprocesses, monitor trials, clean up and tidy up);
* Measure the development efficiency and durability of micro-organisms and the metabolites produced, using appropriate analyses (HPLC, enzymatic analyzer, capillary electrophoresis);
* Research and formulate new conditions to improve product efficacy in the field;
* Develop processes to implement changes of scale, from a few microliters in microplates to bioreactors.
* Participate in monitoring methods, regulations and products on the market;
* Analyze results in terms of consistency with defined criteria;
* Report results in the form of a summary, presentation or report;
* Anticipate and manage orders and stocks of materials and products required for testing;
* Control and maintain microbiology laboratory instrumentation to guarantee the reliability of experimental data;
* Manage the processing of biological and chemical waste;
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners inside and outside the company.

- Bac +2 or bac +3 in microbiology / bioanalysis and control / biotechnology. Experience in fermentation
would be a plus;
- Ability to handle under sterile conditions using a spout or microbiological safety station;
- Respect for asepsis, hygiene and safety rules;
- Strong interest in applied R&D laboratory work;
- Ability to analyze experimental results and critical thinking skills;
- Quality of writing, versatility, autonomy;
- Excellent organizational skills, particularly in terms of work planning;
- Enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team;
- English: ability to read and write technical documents.

Night and weekend work may be required to ensure continuity of experiments.
9-month fixed-term contract based in Deyme.
